Background & Experience

John Clay Bassett II is a lifelong resident of the Mobile, Alabama area and brings a wealth of local knowledge and business experience to the CRE Mobile team. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from the University of Mobile. Bassett has also held an Alabama Home Builder’s License since 2008.

Before joining CRE Mobile, John Clay co-owned The Citmed Corporation, where he served as vice-president, manager, and operator for more than 30 years. During that time, he gained extensive hands-on experience in every aspect of owning and operating a business, developing strong skills in leadership, management, customer service, and business operations.

John Clay was born and raised in the Mobile area and has lived throughout the region, including 25 years in Citronelle, 19 years in Satsuma, and the past six years in Mobile. His firsthand knowledge of these communities and the surrounding areas provides him with a valuable understanding of the local market and the people who call the area home.

John Clay and his wife, Julie, have two sons, Jackson and Anderson. He looks forward to using his business experience, local knowledge, and commitment to serving others to help clients achieve their real estate goals.
